STEEL PLATE/STEEL CHALLENGE

Steel Plate pistol matches involve rapidly shooting at steel plate targets of various sizes, arranged in different configurations in a timed event. The required combination of speed and accuracy makes for a fun and challenging sport.

ARPC hosts monthly Steel Plate/Steel Challenge matches on the first and third Saturday every month weather permitting.

The sport allows a wide range of calibers and firearm options to pick from including rimfire and centerfire calibers. Yep, you can bring the .22LR! Steel Challenge separates competitors into divisions based upon gear differences to incorporate a balance into the playing field. Some examples of these differences include .22LR, production, iron site, open and revolver.
