SKEET

Skeet differs from other shooting sports because it was originally developed to improve hunting in the field, and only later, because of its growing popularity, developed into a competitive sport. Targets are thrown from a high house and a low house while participants shoot from eight different positions laid out in a semicircle.

The ARPC Skeet Field includes an air conditioned/heated building with an open deck under roof with tables, benches and gun racks.

The club requires members to get operational and safety training on the skeet machines, after which they are issued a key to unlock the houses. The club holds an annual skeet league that runs for 8 weeks. Shooters of all skill levels are welcome to join the league.
