SKEET

Skeet differs from all other shooting sports, because it was originally developed to improve hunting in the field, and only later, because of its growing popularity, developed into a competitive sport. Targets are thrown from a high house and a low house while participants shoot from eight different positions laid out in a semicircle. The ARPC Skeet Field includes a very nice air conditioned/heated building with an open area under roof with tables, benches and gun racks. The field is open to all club members and their guests seven days a week, 365 days a year. The club requires members to get operational and safety training, on the skeet machines, after which they are issued a key to unlock the houses. In the spring of each year (late March), the club holds a skeet league that runs for 8 weeks. Shooters of all skill levels are welcome to join the league.
