Bullseye

Bullseye Pistol is a challenging but enjoyable sport. As the name implies, the object is to place your shot in the center “ten ring” of a bullseye target. The challenge of the sport comes from the fact that while standing, the pistol is held in one hand, unsupported, and the 10 ring is only two and a half inches in diameter.

The target is placed at different distances and shots are fired under time constraints. The match is set up to be fired in three different stages: Slow Fire, Timed Fire and Rapid Fire. Generally, the match requires the shooter to use three pistols. Starting with the smallest caliber: .22LR, a center fire pistol and finally, the .45 ACP. You need not shoot in all three divisions, so don’t let the fact that you don’t have pistols in all three calibers keep you from coming out and having some fun!

“Bullseye 101” is an informal instructional session to introduce new shooters to the sport.
